The following was again before the House in third reading: CS FOR HOUSE BILL NO. 369(JUD) "An Act relating to property exemptions under the Alaska Exemptions Act, including removal of the provisions for adjusting the dollar amounts by referring to the consumer price index; and providing for an effective date." 2000-04-06 House Journal Page 2901 HB 369 The question to be reconsidered: "Shall CSHB 369(JUD) pass the House?" The roll was taken with the following result: CSHB 369(JUD)--RECONSIDERATION Third Reading Final Passage YEAS: 30 NAYS: 3 EXCUSED: 2 ABSENT: 5 Yeas: Barnes, Berkowitz, Coghill, Cowdery, Croft, Davies, Davis, Foster, Green, Halcro, Harris, Hudson, James, Joule, Kemplen, Kerttula, Kookesh, Kott, Masek, Morgan, Mulder, Murkowski, Ogan, Porter, Rokeberg, Sanders, Smalley, Therriault, Whitaker, Williams Nays: Cissna, Dyson, Kohring Excused: Austerman, Kapsner Absent: Brice, Bunde, Grussendorf, Moses, Phillips And so, CSHB 369(JUD) passed the House on reconsideration Representative Green moved and asked unanimous consent that the roll call on the passage of the bill be considered the roll call on the effective date clause. There being no objection, it was so ordered. CSHB 369(JUD) was referred to the Chief Clerk for engrossment.
